The James
Gallery opened its doors June 1, 2002. Marymichelle Exquisite Fine Art,
the parent company of the gallery, has listened quite well to its home show
patrons. Many of our home show patrons voiced their interest in viewing new
works as well as becoming collectors of artists that we carry. Well, hello--The
James Gallery!
The gallery has become very popular with DC metropolitan art lovers and customers who prefer an actual gallery setting to a personal home show. The gallery also serves as a private setting for patrons who want their home show held at the gallery, the main reason being their personal residence being considered to small.
The gallery focuses on celebrated and emerging Black artists.
